Aerial arts class descrition

You don't have to quit your job to join the circus!

 

Try some of the world's most popular Aerial Circus Apparatuses like Lyra Hoop, Aerial Silk, Aerial Hammock, Flying Pole, and Aerial Cube!

Intro to Aerial Circus Arts

Try both Aerial Hoop and Silks in this introductory class! You will learn basic positions and poses for both apparatuses as well as conditioning exercises to build strength and flexibility. No experience necessary!

Attire: Please wear yoga pants, tank top and socks to make sure your body is covered. No jewelry please. 

 

Aerial Hoop (Lyra) L1

Learn how to combine strength and body awareness to make beautiful shapes while twirling above the ground. Learn new moves each week including low bar poses and balancing on the hoop. Progressions will be offered as students master each pose. 

Attire: Please wear yoga pants, tank top and socks to make sure your body is covered. No jewelry please. 

 

Aerial Hoop (Lyra) L2

Students will continue building core strength and flexibility and begin learning more advanced mounts, poses, and transitions. You will also begin working on poses on the high bar.

Annecy cube

Aerial Silks L1

Aerial silks involves doing acrobatic movements while hanging from a fabric. In this class, students will begin with conditioning movements on the ground and on the silks. You will then hop on to learn climbing skills, inversion foundations and new moves in the air. 

Attire: Please wear yoga pants and a shirt that you can tuck into your pants.

 

Aerial Hammock L1

Learn to dance and perform acrobatic tricks on a hammock! Have fun while you gain foundational knowledge of aerial hammock while working on strength and flexibility required to perform more advanced tricks and poses.

Attire: Please wear yoga pants, tank top and socks to make sure your body is covered. No jewelry please. 

 

Aerial Cube

Aerial cube is a hanging apparatus suspended off the ground in which the dancer performs various acrobatic movements in and around the cube.  In this class, you will learn basic movements including how to safety mount and dismount onto the apparatus, various sits, hangs, and spins. Bring your camera as we will be doing many Insta-worthy poses!

 

Flying Pole

The Flying Pole is the very first piece if apparatus that connect aerial arts with pole fitness. The pole hangs from the ceiling and the artist performs various pole tricks while its spinning around! This class is recommended for students in pole fitness Level 2 and above.
