Introduction to Pole

If you are interest in pole dance classes,  please make sure your very first class is Intro to Pole. This class is designed for absolute beginners — During your Intro class, we’ll:

  • Give you a quick studio tour
  • Go over important studio basics, including how to:
    • Wipe down and care for the poles
    • Switch the pole between static and spin modes
    • Remove any jewelry (especially rings) to prevent pole damage and ensure safety
  •  Learn the fundamental techniques of pole dancing—starting with basic walks, simple spins, and introductory floorwork—alongside strength-building exercises to help you progress safely and confidently. 

Once you’ve completed one Intro to Pole class, you can register for any Pole Level 1 (L1).This level continues at a beginner-friendly pace, introducing a few new moves within the same difficulty range. 

Intro to Aerial Arts

You don't have to quit your job to join the circus!

 

This introductory class lets you experience both Aerial hoop and Aerial Silks in one session! You’ll learn basic positions and poses on each apparatus, aerial safety, along with conditioning exercises to help you build strength, flexibility, and body awareness for future aerial training.

After completing this class, you can continue your journey by joining any of our Hoop L1 or Silks L1 classes.

Attire: Please wear legging or yoga pants, a fitted tank top, and socks to keep your body covered. No jewelry please.

Ex 1: The Pole Addict

 Lisa is super excited to start her pole journey! During her 3-week trial, she wants to dedicate as much time as possible to pole dance classes. 

Ex 2: Here to Explore

Bonnie wants to experience the full variety of classes offered at the studio, so her class registrations reflect a wide range of interests while still meeting the necessary prerequisites. 

Ex 3: Here to Stretch

Valerie is not interested in pole or aerial classes at this time. She wants to focus on improving her flexibility, and has used her 3-Week Trial Pass to register for flexibility-based classes.
